Our debut project is Encore Metaverse – a free-to-play AAA multiplayer shooter game with NFT assets built on Unreal Engine. The game allows users not only to dive into a shooter adventure with world-class visuals but also get actual ownership of in-game purchases, create and trade player’s own NFTs, use the in-game staking mechanism to invest in digital real estate and much, much more.
We are now seeking a visionary Art Director to drive the creative vision for our game to join our growing team.
What You Will Do:
- Work on realistic 3D characters/props/environment.
- Collaborate closely with HR and producers to identify, hire, and grow promising candidates in your area of expertise.
- Guide, provide constant support, and mentor artists. Play a key role in their career development.
Requirements:
- !!! Strong portfolio with examples of realistic works 3D (AAA).
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D graphic software.
- In-depth knowledge of the tasks required to produce a AAA video game.
- Good knowledge of modeling techniques; to create graphic assets expected on a project.
- Solid understanding of texture mapping and material.
- Shipped at least 2 games, with at least 1 game being AAA on a console.
- Comfortable acting in a creative lead role, giving constructive feedback to others and presenting ideas convincingly.
- Hold regular team updates (‘scrums’) and update the Producer/Associate Art Director.
- Strong knowledge of shader and texture pipelines.
- Good knowledge of video production pipelines and gameplay capture processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
